If you are in the area for an event on a weekday then you will understand how bad the parking situation is in this area. Less than relaxed, after a drive and 30 minutes finding parking, I watched my teenager dance one dance before the first break. Having eaten licorice and coffee for lunch on the drive over, I was in search of something more.
I found this cute little cafe across the street. They fixed me up really fast with a skim mocha and a BLT on whole wheat. Simple, fresh, warm and delicious. Friendly service to boot. Great place.
The clientele in the general area seemed to have more than the usual number of (harmless looking) drunk/high people. Not sure why. -

I find the staff very nice, the selection is broad and they customize my order when I want them to. Their selection of teas is awesome. A great place to go.

Amazing atmosphere, it is a good place to get some work done. The only issue I have with this place, its in the downtown core. It attracts a lot of... Interesting characters. But other then that I enjoy this shop and I am frequent visitor when in the area.

Great little spot in the middle of downtown..
Fantastic selection of black / green / decaf teas.. He will even custom mix teas for you (I like green and peppermint) wonderful selection of healthy foods and decadent desserts. Many different varieties of coffee too
Fast service for eat in or take out
Cash only which is a bit of a bummer there have been many times where I'm inline thinking I want only something small when I place my order I realize my order was larger then my cash on hand so I drop an item or 2 from my order..they do have an ATM but now I've been nailed the service fee from the ATM + what my bank fees are -

Free WIFI but felt very uncomfortable using it as staff monitor what you watch on the net. Hey girls you are not my MAMA. Coffee is blah. Food is Blah. Desserts are Blah. All overpriced like crazy. Owner a bit stiff. Anywhere else is better.
